The J35 family runs across many suffixes, and they are not interchangeable. Most of what the internet calls a “J35 engine for sale” is a J35A, the earlier Japanese-market variant used in the Odyssey, Pilot, Ridgeline and Acura MDX. JDM Engine Zone does not stock J35A at this time — the stock on this page is J35Z2 only, with manufacturer part number J35Z printed on every listing.
The quickest way to confirm which variant you have is the engine code stamped on your own block, or your VIN.
